TEAS Score Requirements for Nursing Schools (2026)

Minimum ATI TEAS scores published by 44 nursing programs in 20 states, read on each school's own website — not copied from other prep sites. Total minimums range from about 48.1% to 80% (85% for one priority track); 58.7% (Proficient) is the most common. Type your score in the school finder to see which ones you meet.

Minimums change every admission cycle and many programs rank applicants, so meeting the minimum doesn't guarantee a seat. Always confirm on the school's page before you apply. Notes: Texas State lists 70% for general admission and 85% for priority; the University of Arizona's 75% applies to its master's entry program (MS-MEPN); Northwest Florida State's 70% applies to TEAS, HESI or its own entrance exam; UT Arlington states its own Proficient range; Abilene Christian, Northern Virginia (nursing) and Washtenaw set only section minimums; Kennesaw State strongly recommends 78 without a stated minimum, and Valencia's catalog gives 78 without saying it is the total percentage. Amarillo College's PDF can be slow to load: give it a minute.

How to find your own school's minimum

Open the program's admissions page and search for "TEAS". Write down the total minimum, any section minimums, how many attempts it accepts and how old a score may be — then set your target above the minimum, because many programs rank applicants. Put that target in the calculator.

Missing your school? Email info@prepmasterdigital.com with the link to its official page and we'll add it after checking.
